Spartan Trifecta Weekend Gold Coast
Spartan are excited to be back in the stunning Gold Coast Hinterland! Experienced Spartan racers have long loved the previous races held at this location in QLD, thanks to the diversity Spartan are able to create with the courses. Spartans will be challenged with hill climbs and elevation, trawl through meandering creeks, across open paddocks, technical rocky terrain, and some great sections through the forest like settings.

Australian Open Bowls
After moving to the sunny Gold Coast in 2015, the Australian Open has become a true festival of bowls, with 14 days of action played across the 14 host clubs on the Gold Coast. Over 3,500 bowlers from across Australia, and indeed the world are expected to attend again, with entry being completely open to any registered bowler! Not only is the Australian Open the World's Biggest Bowls Festival, it is also the richest bowls event in the world with a staggering total of over AUD$284,000 prize money across the 13 disciplines. Australian Open fast facts: A completely open-to-enter event with no qualifying; Sectional rounds played in each discipline initially, with qualifiers progressing through to knockouts; Completely random draw - no seedings in either sectional or knockout play; 14 hosts clubs; 14 days of competition; 13 disciplines with a total prize pool of over AUD$284,000; "Mega Bowl" events open to anyone, including non-bowlers; Two days of finals filmed and broadcast on 7Two, Fox Sports and Kayo.

The race also doubles as Round 1 of the Triple Crown Trail Series! 2024 again sees the final round f Flirt with Dirt held in conjunction with In the Raw; introducing rising stars and newbies to a true trail experience. Ska Fighter II: World Tour Edition
Taking their high octane, self deprecating and self destructive show, Melbourne’s Admiral Ackbar’s Dishonourable Discharge are taking their show on the road. With barely a breath from the first note to the last, the ska punk pranksters are known for a hyperactive bombardment of upstrokes at a blistering pace, peppering the audience with a barrage with antics that are sure to leave you bewildered, amused or a combination of the two. Along for the ride, dragged kicking and screaming by their haunches are Melbourne’s The Kittyhawks. Formed from the ashes of Ska veterans, Smells Like Chicken, The Kittyhawks have been dazzling audiences with their blend of pop punk, ska and rock. Currently riding the high of their first full length, From Brass to Bullets, the Kittyhawks join Admiral Ackbar’s Dishonourable Discharge on the road to show the East Coast what the Melbourne Ska scene has to offer. Joining Admiral Ackbar’s Dishonourable Discharge and The Kittyhawks on the final show of the tour at Mo’s Desert Clubhouse will be anty! (The Bennies) and Brisbane’s Radshack. This is an 18-plus event.
