22 Feb 2024

The Gold Coast is bringing the blockbuster Taylor Swift experience to 1,500 fans with exclusive screenings of The Eras Tour at HOTA, Home of the Arts for one weekend only.

Despite it being a Cruel Summer for those who couldn’t secure concert tickets, fans are invited to Shake It Off and revel in the magic of The Eras Tour at the ultimate Taylor Swift cinema experience.

The cultural phenomenon hits the screens with eight shows of the concert film offering a once-in-a-lifetime cinematic view of the history-making tour this Saturday and Sunday, coinciding with Swift’s final leg of her tour Down Under.

Swifties are invited to dress up, sing their hearts out, and immerse themselves in the "tayhem" of Swift's iconic performances in a lively atmosphere.

Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate said the city is fast becoming a hub for entertainment.

“From P!NK to Pearl Jam and now Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour which has taken the world by storm, the Gold Coast is the ultimate events and entertainment destination,” Cr Tate said.

Why have FOMO when you could be experiencing Australia’s only screenings of The Eras Tour right here on the Gold Coast.

“The Gold Coast is …Ready For It.

Experience Gold Coast CEO John Warn said the event is anticipated to draw a sell-out crowd.

“The Gold Coast is thrilled to host these exclusive screenings of Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour," he said.

This event not only brings the community together but also showcases our city as a vibrant hub for entertainment and cultural experiences.

“It's events like these that make the Gold Coast an even more attractive destination for locals and visitors alike.

“Don't miss out on this opportunity to be part of the Taylor Swift experience on the Gold Coast.”

The screenings offer fans a chance to sing along to their favourite hits, from classics like Love Story and 22 to recent hits from Swift’s 2024 Grammy awarded Album of the Year Midnights.

Tickets for the screenings are priced at $19.89 each and will go on sale today from 9am (AEST) offering fans the chance to secure their spot for a weekend of unforgettable entertainment.

Whether you're a die-hard Swiftie or simply appreciate great music, these screenings are not to be missed. For ticket information and screening times, visit hota.tv/taylor-swift.
